Hello with rick,
I am 18 years old.
I have been suffering from my calves for 3 weeks, around the knee and thighs. I now also suffer from muscle twitches on the knee, thighs and toe at the calves, I see the muscles move off and on. I have now gone to the doctor twice and he said that I should take it easy and was normal. I also went to the doctor post he said that it is completely normal and you had to restore your muscles. Did a general blood test for vitamins there came from vitamin D deficiency. And the doctor's post said I had hyperventilation. I also went to the physio and said that my muscle functions said well after doing some exercises. I am a very anxious person of my own and when I searched for muscle vibrations it came out ALS a disease that frightened me a lot ... I am always very anxious when it comes to diseases.
I do not know what to do now did some exercises for my calf what I saw on youtube that you stand on an edge of a set-up and then stand on your toes and go up and down with your calf I saw that I was at the my right leg was shaking when I went down and my left leg had little to no vibrations, but it was also a bit of a problem, but that could also be because I did it very often in 15 minutes.
Do I have to go to a neurologist now or wait

yeah i also read but i got a little scared with the exercise for the calf muscles that it was a bit more difficult with the right leg where i suffer from it. I could get it up but after 15x I got much more pain than with the left leg. And with the muscle twitches in the calf and above i was very scared....

Nothing in your post suggests ALS.

Twitching is common, nonspecific, and meaningless in the absence of muscle function failure which you have not described.

Your anxiety has gotten the better of you.

Keep working with your physio and your doctors.

Thank you for the help and i’m very sorry if i came with dumb things. I want to donate some money where can i do this on the page?
