Concerned about possible ALS?

Could this be ALS?

Could this be ALS sounds to me another way of saying is this. I think we want to get away from anything that is a potential yes/ no question.

Possible ALS, as you know Karen, is a hot button phrase for me because of El Escorial

Ok then. Concerned about ALS? Could be a leading contender.
But then it would be abbreviated CAALS, which is too close to CALS.
Or ... Concerned about ALS symptoms? I think that’s too confusing, because we PALS have ALS symptoms.
Maybe we should just stick to DIHALS. It’s what we’re used to and mostly works just fine.

I like "Concerned about ALS?" When we talk about it we can refer to it as "concerned"

Agree with Kim. we will likely still think of them as dihals for a long time anyway

I don't know -- P/CALS are concerned about ALS as well...I don't want to discredit that.

Agree, possible ALS is a no-go.

I thought could this be ALS was a softer question than do I have it, and admittedly it's a yes/no, but the answer is less definitive and more go seek and find.

Concerned about having als symptoms?

I think DIHALS is fine, changing the name of the section is not going to change any behaviours from the anxious. .02 contributed

That begs the question (of whether they are actually ALS symptoms), to me.

I'm still on "Could this be ALS?" which could be in the midst of testing or early symptoms, either way. And it could apply to your loved one, not just you.

What about "Is This ALS?" or "Sound Like ALS?" Promises less, short, still captures the content, I think. Or simply "ALS Symptoms?"

I like this too for all the reasons you pointed out.

Could this be ALS?

We could roll with one of these for now and see how it goes:
  • Could this be ALS?
  • Are these ALS symptoms?
  • Discuss my ALS symptoms

I’ll vote for “Could this be ALS?”

Okay, give it a couple of days to see if anyone has any issues and we can change it. Feel free to remind me if too much time passes.
