hello everyone, first and foremost i want to say that to all of you living with als, you guys are an inspiration and you guys are all warriors, i mean no disrespect by this post just treally concerned and any bit of answers would help a lot!

so the last 2 months i have just constantly been sick and constantly felt horrible, but no symptoms with anything to do with als more just a common virus or flu type sickness. that happened from december 13th to dec 17th, where i was puking and shaking and getting tingling numbness ect. and then i was completely fine from the 18th to january 5th, which january 5th is when the virus symptoms kicked back in for about 3 days, i was puking and tired again, except this time the general bad feeling didnt go away. i stopped puking but for about 2 weeks i felt nauseous and just fatigued. this continued and i started to get vertigo and extreme motion sickness as well as panic attacks which id never had before.

this went from jan 5th to about january 15th which is when i started getting really bad chest spasms which at the time i thought was a heart attack (i had chest palpatations and sped up heart beat as well) so i went to the cardiologist and everything was fine.

next i went to a GI everything was fine, then about a week and a half ago the spasms werent just in my chest anymore, they spread to my left leg and left arm, and ive started getting SEVERE weakness, and in just a week and a half i already am having trouble holding things and cant do any normal everyday activities. the thing thats really concerning is in just over a week and a half im already having trouble swallowing and keeping my neck up.

my question to you guys is, is a week and a half too fast from the onset of the first symptoms of als for it to spread this severely and to this many places? so sorry for the length of this but any answer helps thanks so much everyone have a blessed day❤️

You don't have ALS. What you describe has nothing to do with what people here have. Obviously you are in distress, and going between specialists hasn't brought you answers. So...

Go back to a primary doc and start from the beginning. They are trained to help you.

Best,
Laurie

No, nothing you've posted is ALS. Please bring your concerns to your parents and let them take it from there; don't bring your concerns to a forum full of dying strangers. It's not good for an already anxious person to be on this forum.

thanks so much for quick answers! really sorry if i offended anyone.
