Got up, got out of bed, dragged a comb...

Beatles always get me off to a good start. But what's even better s the old tune, 'It's a Beautiful Morning.' I also like 'who's trippin' down the streets of the city, smiling at every body she sees...' It's a good morning. And excuse me if I don't whine about ALS. In fact, let me say that the disease has done really good things for my family. The kids are learning a lot of responsibility. And I certainly have proven what a good husband I am. Whoever knew me in school even just a few years ago would think I was a thoughtless, inconsiderate bastard, but I'm practically a saint, now, thanks to ALS. People at work, now that they know, bless me and call me an inspiration! Last year I was just a troublemaker, now I'm Albert Schweitzer! This ALS has been good in many ways. We've gotten to meet a lot of really smart doctors. My kids are seeing good role models. Well, gotta go to work.
