Gilenya

Gilenya is the trade name for a drug called Fingolimod. Gilenya is an immunomodulating drug that has been approved as a treatment for multiple sclerosis. Gilenya helps reduce relapse rates of multiple sclerosis by over 50%, but unfortunately, has serious adverse effects. It has also recently been discovered to have possible therapeutic advantages towards heart failure and arrhythmias.
