Hello, Gatewaytiger here.
Have been diagnosed with brachial amyotrophic diplegia.
It took 1 1/2 years and 3 neurologist to come up with it.
I have all the symthoms; weakness in the arms and shoulders, atrophy, etc.
Does anyone out there know if these conditions ever reverse themselves?

That letter is somewhat dated -- the last retrospective study is here. Takeaway is that if you have to have ALS, the flail arm subtype (aka brachial amyotrophic diplegia) is a relatively good phenotype to have.

But depending on what you read, ALS has never or vanishingly rarely reversed course. I would consider what you have a terminal illness. We here at the Forum are here to help you however we can.

It is very rarely reversible . :( .You have to live with the fact and dun ever give up hope That is one and only thing that mankind clings to. We are here to help in whatever way we can.

If you are a vet, contact the PVA asap ... sorry for your diagnosis :-(
