| Sleep pants, lounge pants
I know this is a strange request but we need some. Eddie has progressed to the point that they are the only thing he is comfortable in. We seem to go thru about 3-4 pairs a day and our stash isn't that large. Anyone who might have some to sell for a small fee or donate please contact me. Thanks Shelly

Shelly,
I know a lady that collects hospital scrubs (very cumfy) from someplace, washes them up and sells them in a flea-market booth. I'm guessing she gets them from local hospitals that are otherwise going to throw them away.
She claims the scrubs are wonderful for loungeware.

I like Zaphoon's idea, I live in scrub's. Every night. I wonder if you could call a uniform store, or I will call for you. That sound's like a great idea. I would think maybe you could get them donated. I will start looking as soon as you give me the size. I hope I can help, have a friend that may just be the answer. Write soon.

Eddie is in at least a medium. I have taken a couple pair of scrubs and added elastic to the waist and the bottoms of the legs. Eddie has that ALS belly going on, shhhhhhhh don't tell him I told you all. He tries to hide it. lol If I can find larger ones I can always take them up.

I may have a couple of sets of scrubs at home, I will check and let you know. If not I am sure I can come up with something for you.

Hi Shelly:
I have (2) nice pairs, brand new with tags, just for you. My husband also has ALS and we live in Ohio, too. I don't usually post to the forums, so I need your info to send these to you. Please reply if you see this.

I found that basketball sweats worked well. You know, the ones with the snaps up the sides? They are nice to use to just sit on then snap them up around the legs. No slipping them on up the legs. They are also nice if a catheter is involved because if it's a leg bag, you can unsnap and get to the bag discretely. These are XL or XXL. Let me know if you think these might work.

Hi Jolts. Sorry about your husband. I wear the tear away pants full time. I'm having trouble finding them in any stores here in Canada. Can you tell me if available and where in Ohio can you get them. Thanks.
AL.

i have seen the tear-away basketball/track pants at both walmart and target- in the kids dept. - i'm sure they have them for adults as well. i, too, didn't think of using these for my husband - i just sometimes threaten to cut his pants down the sides and put some velcro on them. the reality is that i don't have time for that. i'll be stopping there on the way home today.

My ex husband has found that wearing hanes mens briefs are the easies to sleep in right now. As he hasn't had to use a catator as yet he is able to just slide these shorts up so he can still use a urinal. When he is in his chair a blanket is put over his legs. He no longer can snap or unsnap his cloths so these seem to work out the best for him.
