In need of an eye gaze

My mother-in-law was diagnosed with ALS last year and she has gotten to the point where we cannot communicate with her very well because the disease has gotten to her vocal cords. Her speech therapist says she needs a device/system called an eye gaze. They are so expensive and we cannot afford to get one for her. I was hoping someone could help me if they have one for sale or knew of somewhere that could loan one or rent one. ANY help or input would be greatly appreciated. God Bless!

Have you checked with the nearest ALS Association? They have loaner closets and might have one. Check in Dallas and Austin.

Yes, I have contacted the ALSA Chapter in San Antonio and also ALS Guardian Angels and have been emailing back and forth with Stu. Thank you both for your input and I will definitely checkout the website above too.
