Hi, I'm Sara Ann, diagnosed with MND in June 2008, with ALS in Dec.2008. My husband is a bee keeper and so we have access to bee pollen. I have been taking it for about two months and have found I do not require as much sleep. Usually 7-9 hours at night and naps just occasionly. Before Bee Pollen 10-12 hrs at night and 2-4 hours every day. I take 1-1/2 twice a day. Start out gradullay. Body has to adjust to it. Hope this is of help to some:

hi there, so to buy this how much would you take to start off with, i am always so tired but try to go to work and p.t. everyday and get in the pool and then i am done....thanks, jduie

Bee Pollen

Judie, You need to find bee keeper that sells fresh or frozen bee pollen(not prepackage stuff that you get a WalMart or health food stores. I started out with 1/2 teaspoon a day. If you take to much it will give you diarrhea. I just added more as my body adjusted to it.

I was also told to eat 80 grams of protein day by an ALS specialist..

There is a lady in the area here that practices bee sting therapy on people with MS. She also sells various bee products (honey, cream, candles, etc).

OUCH... I do not think I can take that. I was stung in the eye one time years ago by a bee. I have had this weird fear of them ever since, but then I'm aby-normal.:lol:

Captn Al,

The bee stinging lady keeps a syringe of antidote (whatever its called) handy just in case one of her patients has an allergy to the sting.

I don't know - I think I'd kind of enjoy that sort of therapy in a sadistic sort of way. Sting me! Sting me again!

bee stings

I've asked my husband if we could try this since we have access to bees. He is not excited about putting me though pain. And asked where would you want to be stung, since it is any nerve and most muscles.
