MODERATOR...I know you dont like to advertise, but thought this may be a useful link

We are currently looking for some kind of new vehicle or adaption for getting in and out of the car and came across this. thought it might be of interest to others.

http://www.elap.co.uk/ProdRotatingSeat.html

It is a UK company but if you watch the video it does say that they supply worldwide, we are currently investigating it further, a lot cheaper than getting a new vehicle, especially as my husband wants to keep his car. The converted car can be put back to original when the swivel seat is no longer required.

If it can help PALS then we have no problem with it.

I came across another site that I would love to purchase their seat (that works the same) but they start at $6000.00 plus installation.
Way to much!

Here is the one I want, but was quoted over $20,000.0. YIKES! I don't know how they sleep at night. Anyway, since we have to sell our van, can't afford to keep it, my boys are going to fabricate one for me.

Joel, have you sold your van yet? My wife and I are thinking ahead to when we will need one as I am starting to have real trouble getting in and especially out of our Toyota Corrolla. What kind of van is it and how much are you asking for it?

Barry

Hi Barry, I will post it in the Equipment for sale section, with pictures.

I can't wait to see what your boys come up with on their design of Joe's swivel seat. Maybe there is a new business coming out of this. Hope you can sell your handicap van soon as well.

Good luck.
