Hi there, we received a Dynavox with eye gaze but are having trouble calibrating it. We've found the part with the box that shows your eyes, and the part with the bouncing dot, but even after using that, it's very difficult to get it to "see" the corners of the screen. We are trying to use it in blink mode, but we also put it into switch mode and attached a switch, and it seems to take too much time to register the switch.

Also, once my sister gets it calibrated, she is tired from holding her head still, and it begins to sag, so then her eyes are no longer lined up the same way. Is the Dynavox eye gaze supposed to handle normal head movement?

Does anyone have a Dynavox and can give us some hints for setting it up?

Thanks!

I don't need one yet, but a friend of mine has a good system set up. His head is immobilized to the headrest of his wheelchair(with a sport head band) and reclined to a comfortable position. Calibration is done in that position.
