My wife was diagnosed with ALS in August 2013. She is on a bipap and has small degree of strength in her legs and in her arms, although not enough to be functional or useful. She also has had a ng tube for at least the past 3 months. She was experiencing a fairly rapid decline for about the...
Tremors in hands, stiff leg muscles, somewhat weak legs, change in vision, hands are weaker, dropping things more often, occasionally trouble breathing, tingling feet and fingers, unintentional weight loss(lost 12 pounds in a week). I also have been more jumpy, I'm dizzy when I stand up, muscle...
I know a lot of PALS have issues with constipation but does anyone have any insight into the opposite problem?

2. Find support systems
3. Tell people as appropriate
4. Put legal affairs in...

What am I missing here?
Or put another way, what would be the general...
My husband is still having bouts of nausea. We are certain it is caused by phlegm in his stomach, he has so much of it and he is unable to cough it up. He throws up globs of it. He uses a cough assist machine and suction machine and he's been using pineapple juice to thin the phlegm, but of...
Hello all,
I'm going to try another post here. Some my posts have not gone through so maybe I'm hitting the wrong button. Anyhoo,
Other than really tight calves upon walking fast for exercise and being pretty tired after work, my more telling symptoms began last May 2014. Around that time...
