First post here. Been lurking for a few weeks, and needed to register to continue looking around... which I did quickly without thinking through what would be the best name. I am newly dxed on 8/28.
Was trying to see how to send a PM to Al to change my username, but can't seem to find that option. Thought it should show up when clicking on his name in any of the posts in the drop-down menu that pops up... but I don't see it there.
The privilege of sending private message is granted after you have been a member for awhile. It had to be limited due to some bad people who come on here long ago and posted spam and porn. Be patient and the options will come.
Keep making more posts and you will obtain that privilege sooner. Welcome to the forum, by the way and I am so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. You certainly came to the right place for info and support! There are amazing members on this forum.
You should be able to send me a PM by clicking on my name and send private message on the drop down menu. If that fails, email me at al.pettit@alsforums.com and tell me what changes you want. Welcome.
