Is it possible to add a "poll" feature for posts when this would be helpful? Some forums I visit have this. It allows for readers to respond to questions with multiple choice answers, and provides a summary of the answers.

It is there. Open a new thread and scroll down. There should be an option to add a poll. I believe you can have ten items and there is an option to make responses anonymous which I hope people use. It is possible that this option only kicks in after you have a degree of seniority which is earned by posts in the “ clinical” subforums not longevity here. If you don’t see it my guess is that it kicks in around 40 or 50 posts in our post count as shown under interest in the left hand side of your post
