New Forum Idea

Does anyone think a forum for the kids and teens of those with ALS to post would be a good idea?

ALS seems to be striking those younger and younger. So many PALS have kids--they need somewhere safe to go and talk.

Anyone else think it's a good idea?

I do!...Sort of a Teen hang out where they can talk with each other and relate to each other at their level, but they may not want parents or cargiver to see what they say, know what I mean? They may not be open enough to share with lurking eyes about.

This has been discussed before, I will post a link if I can find it. It would be a no go on this forum, as we do not want our kids to have access to all we post. There is a site that is based in Canada, but not much action on it. I will post a link if I can find it also. For those of you on F B Kinga is involved with a camp for kids who have parents with ALS.

Here is the link for Canada. It has a link with a page set up by a child of someone with ALS. It also has an email address for 2 nurses to talk to who lost parents to ALS when they were young. There is also a link to a fb page for kids with parents who have ALS. hope this helps you.
