Finding piece on my back porch.

Mike and I having been working for two weeks to create a place where we can both go to feel some peace, beauty and fresh air. I can't tell you what a gift this is for me. We sat tonight, admired the beauty, life, wonderful sounds and smells. We also have a pair of Cardinals nesting near the porch. Its been said when Cardinals arrive, angels are near by. We need them. Iur sanctuary.

We did a lot of candles, plant stands and orchids to make the back verandah a special place as it was the only place outside the house Chris would go. It's so worth it to do this. I could enjoy it with Chris and then I could also enjoy it on my own after he had gone to bed.

Mike and I finally talked Steve into going outside. It made uss so very happy.

Beautiful! My husband and I just got a quote to expand our back patio and add a fire pit. He loves to go out back and have a fire at night. Can't wait for them to start work in a week or 2. I find peace out there too. Hoping the warmer weather will continue and we can enjoy our morning coffee there too.

Thanks everyone. Steve was so happy and thanked Mike over and over again. Mike said that Steve was so happy because I enjoyed it so much. Just wanted to sit outside all night listening to some Eagles and Genesis. A good weekend!
