My 79 year mum fell last week and has been in the hospital since last Friday, mostly to get her back on track. She chipped a bone in her wrist and was quite bruised. The very sad thing is that it's being recommended she be transferred from an Assisted Living facility to a home. I don't feel she's near that yet and am trying to change their thinking. Anyway, just want to say that I've read all of the amazing quotes on love and the inspirational quotes to my mum the past couple of days. They have brought her some peace and enlightenment and the same for me too. Even just spending that time with her, reading to her, have brought an amazing calm to us. Thank you. Looking forward to future posts! Love to you. Yasmin

I feel grateful once again for the eye~opening lesson that what I
perceived and therefore projected, through fear was incorrect. I love
having this awareness, and seem to have it often. How often in the
past I have lived believing limiting fears, and now I am grateful for
my shift.

I am also grateful to read how inspiration helps others, I love that! I
feel these words deeply. Had a very inspiring visit with my dear friend,
we decided to each say loving affirmations and then talk about how
we feel when we meet again. I love that and I love sharing this path
with like~minded souls!

YASMIN, I AM SORRY THAT YOUR MOM FELL...PRAYING FOR HER....HAPPY THAT THESE QUOTES GIVE HER CONSOLATION...CARO, WE ARE ON THE SAME PATH SIDE BY SIDE!

The mind can go in a thousand directions, but on this beautiful path, I walk in peace. With each step, the wind blows. With each step, a flower blooms.

- Thich Nhat Hanh -

All that you have traveled through, all that you

have experienced,

enriches the Divine expression that is You.

Without the soil of experience,

you could not become the unique reflection

of the Divine that you are meant to be.

The template for happiness is to offer goodness to the world for true happiness is achieved when one gives freely of their heart and soul.

~~Micheal Teal

To be great, be whole;
Exclude nothing, exaggerate nothing that is not you.
Be whole in everything. Put all you are
Into the smallest thing you do.
So, in each lake, the moon shines with splendor
Because it blooms up above.

I too offer prayers to Yasmin's mom and glad that she feels wonderful the inspiration here!

I have been thinking of Thich Nhat Hahn recently, and once taught a walking meditation
based on his books. So wonderful to read his words again! I remember how he spoke of
once having a very challenging issue, and he chose to focus only on the moment, so intently,
that the solution came to him. He embodies living in the now.

Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to see a friend and discuss our spiritual paths, offering
support and acceptance. Also, my dear friend Caroline told me of her deepening ease and flow
resulting from her dedication to her meditation practice and it really inspires me...so much!

Grateful to walk this path with such beautiful souls...thank you!

CARO, PLEASED TO SEE YOU ARE GOING TO YOUR FRIEND'S HOUSE TODAY. GIVE HER A GENTLE HUG FROM ME!Thich Nhat Hahn I LOVE AND WHEN I COULD STILL WALK I DID HIS MEDITATION WALK. HE IS SUCH A GENTLE TEACHER...

When you begin to touch your heart or let your heart be touched, you begin to discover that it's bottomless, that it doesn't have any resolution, that this heart is huge, vast, and limitless. You begin to discover how much warmth and gentleness is there, as well as how much space.

So true that the souls longs for its true expression, I have been really feeling that
pull of awareness. I have been so aware of my beliefs and how I react to them.
This has been liberating, and also bringing up a lot of old feelings to be cleared,
moving me beyond old patterns.

Grateful to see that I am getting better at remembering to be present...where I
actually am in the moment. Seems that is where the guidance and inspiration is,
all the beauty and blessings.

Will give dear Caroline a gentle and loving hug from you dear Sequoia, I have told
her about you and this thread and it lights her eyes! Much love on this beautiful day!

LIVING IN THE PRESENT IS THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE BECAUSE WE ARE OPEN AND LOVING AND IN TOUCH WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS...THANKS FOR GIVING CAROLINE MY LOVE!

I promise myself,

To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.
To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the

To give so much time to improving myself that I

To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world,

so long as I am true to the best that is in me.

I love the writing today, I always do, it seems to be exactly what I need
everyday!

"To live with the faith that the whole world is on my side" ~ what a shift
that creates! I will remind myself of that today...all day.

Today, grateful for true friends. Grateful too for seeing a beautiful light in
my dreams last night and to have slept well. Grateful to remember to be
present, to the beautiful colors this time of year in the north east.

Have a beautiful day!

21 Ways To Celebrate Life
--posted by JZ on May 21, 2008

After Nancy Rothstein's son, Josh, passed away unexpectedly, she was seeking a way to offer a tribute for family and friends to honor his birthday. With each passing birthday, she adds one more item to the list.

Last April 16 would've been Josh's 21st birthday, and true to her tradition, Nancy shared these 21 ways to celebrate life:

Smile. Smiling makes you and those around you feel good. If you don’t feel good, a smile can trick your brain into feeling better.

Eat ice cream.

Run on the beach. If you can’t physically do this, use your imagination.

Call someone who is ill or lonely. Listen to their story. Take the time. Tell them your story, if they ask.

Listen to music that touches your heart and soul.

Sing in the shower, or out loud if you are comfortable.

Visit the grave of a loved one and celebrate your continued BREATH. And tell your loved one what’s on your mind.

Play with a dog.

Thank yourself for putting up with all the things about yourself that drive you nuts! Activate your sense of humor!

Apologize to someone you have wronged in any way.

Take a day, or even a few hours, “off” to do something you always want to do but never take the time to do.

Eat something you never indulge in (unless allergic!) and savor every bite….slowly. No guilt permitted!

Re-watch your favorite funny or happy movie in your most comfortable clothes.

Make plans with 2 friends that you are crazy about but never see…near or far away.

Go outdoors to a natural setting. Sit. Close your eyes. Listen to the world. It’s all an extension of you! Your breath connects you intrinsically to the world.

Laugh. Do something fun or silly that evokes laughter. It has been said that laughter is God’s sunshine.

Place this list in an envelope and revisit it periodically to see how you are celebrating YOURSELF! If you are good to yourself, you can be much better to those around you.

Go to your heart and make all your decisions from there; and all will be well.

Follow the path that matters.

Believe and feel the change you want to see and you will BE the change you envision.

....Yet you must know that in the end, it is LOVE’s garden you must tend.
If you had to add one more to this list, what would it be?

"Mind becoming Meditation" and "Life a celebration" !

There was a time that I wouldn't have allowed myself to think
like that and I am so grateful to realize that I AM now!

Grateful yet again, to see that something that I was projecting
fear about not correct. I am getting this awareness so often. I
have asked God to help me release my fears and so, lessons and
opportunities to free myself have been plenty.

I am so grateful for the guidance I have been receiving: hearing
parts of songs that have messages, literally drifting in my window,
knowing that they have messages....love that!

Love the Light here! God bless always.....

CARO YOU ARE GROWING LEAPS AND BOUNDS! GOD BLESS!

On this day of your life, friend , I believe God wants you to know...
...that your light is seen, your heart is known, your soul

is cherished by more people than you might imagine.

If you knew how many others have been touched in

wonderful ways by you, you would be astonished. If

you knew how many people feel so much for you, you

would be shocked.

You are far more wonderful than you think you are.

Rest with that. Rest easy with that. Breathe again...... You

are doing fine. More than fine....... Better than fine. You're

doin' great....... So relax. And Love yourself today.
Then take in God's Love. Right now.......... take it in.

You deserve it. _ ( ♥ ) _ Neale Donald Walsch

When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.

- Paulo Cohelo -

"Today is all we have. It makes all our yesterdays and paves the way for all our tomorrows."

Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you. -- Lao Tzu

Thank you for your very kind words dear Sequoia! You have held a
light for me and all of us....so appreciated!

I have been getting up everyday and saying my intention, boldly, to make
today a good day and affirming myself. I then saw Venus in the morning
sky and said a big "Yes" to the energy of Love!

I love how the sky at night is filled with so many mysteries, and remembering that
life is so much more than I see from where I am now.

As the wise words above say, to rest in the realization of how loved we are, how
we are so much more than we realize...I really felt that deeply. What a beautiful
way to begin my day! Thank you!
