Nisan 14th was origionally celebrated by the jews to give thanks to jehovah for there release from captivity in egypt.
This celebration was called the passover in connection with an event that took place prior to there release......Exodus ch12 and ch13v 1-5
Jesus also celebrated the passover as his father instructed .....Numbers ch9 v1-3,Deuteronomy ch16v1-3

However ,the final passover celebrated by jesus and jews was to take on a whole new meaning...Mathew ch26 v 17-19,26-30.
The passover became the memorial day for or lord jesus the first born of all creation and who sacrificed himself for all mankind... 1Corinthians ch5v7.

Tonight after sundown i will be celebrating the passover as always in rememberance of our lord jesus with fellow christians.
