You are so right! When my dad was dying I brought goodies to the staff (didn't know about Di and her marvelous brownies) and kept on them... When my MIL was dying, did the same thing, tho they really screwed up...she was very ill from a variety of illness, but their carelessness sped the process and I was too far away to do a lot. I'm thinking when we get back, I'm going to spend a day with PVA and they are going to be face to face with me, then I'll do the same thing with prosthetics at the VA and I'll keep at it until I have this down... Right now (with the exception of the Dynavox) all his equipment and prescription come thru insurance. We got a packet from the PVA yesterday with one modification grant, fish/game/license/proprerty tax/commissary/ letters..... I'll do as much as I can today and tomorrow, but the trip does come first.... Can I get cloned sometime soon?

Jen

Panguinjen, that is inexcusable. When Tom got his bi-pap a few years ago his RT immediately told us about the usage disk and encouraged us to leave the machine running even if he wasn't using it in order to reach the required time. Go on that trip and take the bi-pap with you! Love that case manager! Good luck--Diane

Just got my bipap recently and was told by the tech that she will be able to distinguish between "just running" and actual use.
