Als guardian angels

The ALS GUARDIAN ANGELS truly are ANGELS. This charity helped us purchase a wheelchair van. I thought my PALS would be unable to go out and enjoy the things he likes to do, because of transportation needs. I was wrong. ALS GUARDIAN ANGELS made it happen for us, because of this I am asking all PALS and CALS and their families to donate their older vans to other PALS that are in need or donate them to the ALS GUARDIAN ANGELS. I know that the vans can bring in money, but money only lasts a little bit, the satisfaction you will get from knowing another PALS was able to have quality of life will stay with you FOREVER. If you can't donate a vehicle, donate some CASH, remember pennies turn into dollars!

I am so happy to see your post!

Stu Millheiser (the Founder of ALS Guardian Angels) will be thrilled to see it as well. After coming to the Forums with worries of my own and learning more about ALS, I began volunteering with The Angels. My assignment is to "shop" Craig's List searching out folks who are selling their vans, provide a bit of background regarding ALS, and then trying to encourage the seller to donate the van to The Angels instead. How AWESOME to know that a PAL and his family have benefitted from the ALS Guardian Angels efforts!
