ALS sucks

Checking in, if anyone remembers me.
My progression has been fast. Dx Jan 16, now no walking, almost unintelligible talking, typing with one finger. Feels like if I lose my typing I might lose myself completely. I tried eyegaze but it couldn't track my eyes through my glasses.
My breathing and swallowing is still ok.

I have good carers, and my kids make me smile everyday.
Still keeping on keeping on... als sucks.

I am glad to see you back but very sorry to hear about your progression.

Can you use a head mouse? And Look into speakbook if you have not yet done so

I'm sorry it's so hard and eyegaze hasn't worked well.

As well as head mouse you can get text to speech apps and use a switch - as long as you can move something you can use the switch - head, shoulder, hand, knee, foot whatever.
