Default ALS society returns

ALS was back again yesterday and they brought a bed rail and a ramp for my front step. It seems any thing the rep seems to think I might need shows up. They certainly take great care of me.

I'm so glad.

We would never have managed without our equivalent - MND NSW. They loaned us around $70,000 worth of equipment totally free. Every piece that arrived would make such a difference to our lives.

That is amazing. Mine provided a cough assist machine and a motorized chair. The chair has sat in the garage unused for 2 months as halls and doorways here are too narrow in this house. So I may have someone call them to pick it up and loan to someone that can make better use of it, esp after reading the diff they've made for you.

Ya Avarice, I find them amazing. They bring stuff I haven't even asked for. She said a scooter this summer, so we will see.
