I received my prescription for Nuedexta about two weeks ago. I asked my neurologist to prescribe it not as a mood stabilizer, but in an attempt to control my bulbar symptoms -- excess saliva, swallowing, and slurred speech. I'm happy to report that already my swallowing is much improved and my saliva has decreased considerably. At this point, however, it has not had any effect on my slurred speech. It comes in capsule form so I just break it open and pour it into pudding (I can't swallow pills.) I realize that everyone is different and not everyone will have the same results; but so far, I'm encouraged. Bill

That's great! A lot of PALS report it really helps reduce bulbar issues. I'm so glad it's doing it for you to some degree.
