A family member sent me a TED talks video by an Harvard PHD named Paul Allen Cox. He promotes the use of a nutritional supplement called L-Serine for motor neuron disease. Anyone have an opinion on this product? Its pretty cheap so I ordered some.

It has been discussed before so search for it. My neuro recommends it if someone asks about alternative therapy. I have taken it off and on and never noted any benefit BUT I have genetic ALS and I believe that what will work for me is going to be different than what works for those with other forms

I tried both that and acetyl-l-carnatine and noticed no improvement.

The details are in earlier posts.
