This is the awdad that my son hunted and shot. It is a type of sheep. When they are mounted, they are mounted with their front legs attached. This is due to the fact their beard is attached to their legs and goes to the ground. Eat your hearts out duck dynasty guys. :grin:

That's cool. I had to goo gle them. Are they for trophy or do you eat them too?
 
It was an old tough one so he didn't use the meat.
 
Very cool. I tried for several years to get a tag in ND for Big Horn Sheep but never was susccessful.
 
They are re introducing Elk to our area. The preserve is about 100 miles south of us. My brother in law tried to hunt bear when they were in Alaska but never got close. When we were stationed there we enjoyed moose summer sausage. MMMMmmmm good stuff. Maybe your son could make sausage or brats.
 
That is pretty neat!
 
I'm not sure that any meat is too old or too tough for pressure cooker. But then again I've always been pretty stubborn.
