Hello, all. I need some help with a problem, please. My husband is having a great deal of difficulty running his wheelchair with his hand. (He has a Permobile C500). Isn't there a device or aparatus that helps patients run their chairs with their eyes?

I know there is a system allowing people to breathe the power into the chair, but that will not be an option for him. He is on his non-invasive vent continuously.

I have contacted MDA Dr. and occupational therapist with MDA clinic and have had no response. Thanks!

Thank you for any and all ideas.

Can you put a controller at the back and drive him yourself? I have one but my wife is hopeless at trying to drive me. LOL.

There is a "head array" and a chin control. Don't know if those would work for him.

Do a search on the web for "alternative wheelchair controls."
