Hi all...
Because of other great threads on this topic, I understand that there is definitely a tax benefit to paying your own company LTD premiums if you have that option. Unfortunately that's not currently an option for me, I plan to take this up the chain a little bit to try and change the policy.
I'm hoping some of you that can pay your own premiums will share what company you work/worked for. In my letter that I'm writing up, I would like to have an example list of companies to show that this is not something out of the ordinary. So if you are willing to share, please post or PM me.
Of course any other ideas that folks may have to help me persuade my benefits department that this would be a good change for all of the employees wouldn't hurt either.
Of course I'm very thankful that I have LTD coverage... but no reason not to pursue changes that will help my family in the future.
Thanks!
Brian
