I am employed by the University of California and I am fortunate to have long term disability. I am concerned that I retire in the proper way so that my wife will be able to receive my retirement down the road. I need to retire soon as I am becoming increasingly disabled. If anyone has gone through this process with the UC I would appreciate your advice and experience. Thanks.
