Also, he is six years old and has never barked. Anyone else out there have an english bulldog that has never barked?

Kosmo barks for the UPS truck. The rest of the time he has an operatic whine to plead for things. I believe I have two more posts to go before I can attach photos but you can see Kosmo in album under community.

I love bulldogs! I have an American bulldog named Daisy. she loves her daddy. Does Opie have trouble breathing? next dog I get needs to be smaller than Miss Daisy and less scary looking! I love the bullies but don't want to have a dog that has trouble getting around and I know some English bullies have resp. issues.

Yes Barbie, Opie sure does have trouble breathing especially if he gets too hot or over exerts himself. We keep him indoors and his walks outside in the summer have to be short. However, he is the most loving, devoted and special dog I have ever owned. If he can be next to you with some part of him touching you, he's a happy camper
