they have problems competing with Skype and Facebook. I'm game for Skype anytime.

real time chat is a great tool.

I run a forum where we have both real time text and video chat available.

it did cost me to add those 2 tools, whereas I administer free forum software for everything else.

Sandy and I have several concurrent Skype chats going all the time -- one with Jenny in Germany, one with Denis/Mary in Australia ... I even have one with max.l.eidswick to keep notes and reference stuff.

like, e.g., on our 35th anniversary, I was trying to compose something for Sandy and could not remember when to use 'can not' and 'cannot' ...
