Of course you can:grin: Many people stay even though they get a differential diagnosis.
But at the same time it would be good to find a support group that specialises in parkinism. The reason being that you can get specific advice regarding your illness and treatment that we may not be able to help with.

I don't have als but I have met such wonderful people here. I have looked up a forum for mito and it is not as active as this one. I posted to it months ago and the newest post is 2 months ago. Plus there weren't any from people with adult onset.
