Hello everyone...I'm new. Would like to invite anyone interested in friending me. I have uploaded some pics this morning of myself and my family..I'm 30 and mom of a 3 and 6 year old. I have been given a possible A L S d i a g n o s i s..told by another ne ur o mu sc ul ar specialist, that I don't have it. I've been having some new things going on that have been pointing me back in that direction though. I will be going to the Mayo in Jacksonville, Fl on Jan. 2. If anybody would keep me in there prayers, and I will be doing the same for all my friends and associates on here.
Ya'll( as we say in the south) have been so encouraging, informative, and there for me as many around me now don't really understand what I'm going through yet. If I didn't have this forum, I probably wouldn't know half of what I do know and probably a lil more lonely. Thank you, and Sorry, but you will be hearing a lot more from me. lol
Lolita:grin:

Welcome to the forum! Check out the Tea thread or Whine & Cheese for more chatty threads.

Welcome. So sorry your going thru this. We'd be happy to have a new friend

Lolita welcome to the forum. I'm so sorry you've had to find your way here.

There is an excellent neuromuscular specialist at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Her name is Dr. Katzan.

She's awesome, explains everything, and won't leave a stone unturned to figure out what is going on. If there is any way you can get there, I highly recommend her.

The only problem I've had with Mayo is that there are so many student doctors and residents-and when I went, I never saw the same doctor twice. I'm afraid I need a bit more continuity than that.

Anyway==welcome and if you have any questions, lots of folks here will help!

You're too young for ALS--I pray for a different diagnosis for you!

Thank you all for your kindness. It is a trying time for me. Today is the day I see Dr. Boylin at the Mayo. You all have been so lifting during lonely times. I wish I would of seen that doc. in Tampa when I went to Schands a couple months ago...if me and my honey end up moving down to Clermont like we've been talking, I'm going to look her up......My love to you all!

Good luck today @ Mayo.

Sending good vibs your way, keep us posted! Hugs and peace.
