I just wanted to tell all the folks out there who have lost a loved one this year, that I am keeping you all near my heart this holiday season. This will be your first Christmas without your loved one, but please remember that they will be there with you in spirit, in your memories, and in the hearts of all who are left behind.

Thank you Liz! As difficult as it is we all know Mom is at peace. I'm making her macaroni salad for Christmas Eve dinner, so yes she will be there in spirit. I also lost an uncle and 2 cousins since August to cancer. Our family gatherings have dwindled quickly in the past few months.
