My neurologist narrowed my diagnosed to MMN (multifocal neuropathy) or neuron disease until June. In September, I fell while using walker and beat up my poor unable-to-pick-up-itself foot, resulting in a bad ankle sprain, allover bruising and swelling, and a Jones fracture. I have been using a walker for several months and got a wheelchair for longer distances, as my legs would tire quickly. I have been in wheelchair since fracture and have hopes of getting back to walker/wheelchair combo.

I belong to a good MMN group on Facebook, with lots of posted research and sharing. When I looked previously for ALS groups, I was surprised at the lack of information from real people with ALS and or those walking through ALS with them. I am hoping for something as uplifting and sharing experience as I have on the MMN page. Any chance?

Welcome. This forum is a very group too. Wonderful folks. Plus, there's a ton of information as well. The advanced search option works very well for me.
