Homemaker/home health aid

Have read guide to vet's benefits re homemaker/home heath aid. What VA dept. handles this program? My parttime VA neurologist has forwarded a request but no response todate (threeweeks ago). My unfortunate spouse (and caretaker) suffered a severe broken leg and cant put weight on her leg for a min. of 10 wks. What dept. should I be talking with? Have had some advice but nothing definitive. thxs

Believe I finally got through to the correct VA dept (social Services). Have at least tagged the person in VA who received the request. Waiting for a call-back. :-?

It is the social workers. Donald Higgins heads the als section for VA. Might want to send him an email.
