Default David Jayne

A longtime activist who helped change federal home health requirements, David opted to be weaned from the vent in June.

Meeting David online was the beginning of the end of my "I'll never go on a vent" stance. His ability and determination to show the world that there was the potential for a good life on a ventilator even with ALS gave me the information that doctors didn't acknowledge. His campaign to change Medicare's homebound definition literally opened the world to us. He gave me fourteen - and still counting - good years on a ventilator. Thank you, David.
