I just saw that Cathy died in February. She was a computer scientist at IBM who helped develop voice recognition for telephones and computers.
Later, after she was diagnosed with ALS, with which she lived for 22 years, she published proposed additions to the ALSFRS, and we were in a workgroup on some related projects. So I thought some here might be interested in her obituary.
