Re: CALS Roll call

Yesterday my wife passed away after fighting against the inevitable for eleven days. During that time she drank nothing and was heavily sedated. I don't know how she could have survived so long but she would not let go. The end was peaceful.
I am thankful for her love and the love of my family and friends. I have learned so much and strengthened so many bonds because of this tragic disease.
Even though she fought death she said she was ready to be at peace. I miss her but I know that this is all for the best.
