Thanks for posting this Lori. I read through many of Anne Marie's blogs. She was remarkable in making every moment count and living in the now. I am wondering what happened to her in the last several weeks of life. She was doing well by all accounts in the fall. Still walking with a walker, working and being fairly mobile. She did use a peg for 80% of her nutrition which she complained sapped her energy compared to regular fresh healthy food. But she went into free-fall and died yesterday after a short undisclosed disorder. Her breathing was increasingly labored but there is no hint of her having pneumonia in her last days. She was in the hospital until going back to her parents' home where she soon died.
Very sad although perhaps preferable to a slow lingering demise.
