The ohio home care program also assists with equipment for home, like wheelchair lifts, ceiling tracks ect. they pay for things above and beyond what Medicaid would cover
Hello, if your son is elligable for Ohio Medicaid program, and needs assistance at home with his activitie of daily living, he would probably also be elligable for the Ohio Home Care Waiver program. He could get Aide service and even home modifications. the program is to assist people to be independent at home.
Poochie(my dog) (see pics) is a female too, but she gives the whole bunch of us a bad name! Can't concentrate for more than a minute, easily distracted. So I'm all alone here! Have all nieces though. When they come to visit my guys look like deer caught in the headlights!lol Have to see them now and again to remember what a girl is like.

I am so sorry to hear about your son. It is so hard to be young and going through this. I have had a hard time finding younger people to relate to. I would suggest your son could communicate with my husband, however Jim is VERY unaware of his diagnosis d/t the dementia.
Who are you seeing at the Clinic? Is it through the ALS center? Good luck Monday. I would like to hear what happens.
What is your and your son's names? We are not far apart. Nice to know someone in the area. My mom grew up in Homeworth and I was born at Alliance Hospital. I also work at Robinson Hospital which isn't to far away.
