Thank you. I think of you often too. It's been a year or so for you... Hope you are well and always good to see/hear from familiar faces and 'old timers'. X

Thank you Miss. I'm retired Navy Chief Petty Officer. We've lived and traveled all over too. So far, we have been dual insured since retirement and getting what we needed has not been a problem. Of course Medicare A/B kicks in November 1 and Tricare will be our secondary then. That may not be great. My power wheelchair is on order. I have a bipap, cough assist and should have my feeding tube by the end of this month. Hoyer lift I will spend the extra money for an electric model to reduce the wifes burden. I've decided against the trac and met agreement with all family members. It is what it is! Life is good and fun every day. Thanks again.

I apologized to C.J. on this forum. I didn't mean for my words to come out as if I were bashing her in any way. I truly want her son and her to find peace and start to heal. I am so sorry for all they had to endure. I will think more before I post in the future. I'm sorry if I offended you or anyone else on this site. Kim

My brother's speech is deteriotating. He lives in St. Lucia and does not have much available service there. What can I advise him to do. The neurologist prescibed Rilutek, but he does not want to take it. Is it advisable? The coughing has subsided but in the event it returns should I invest in the BiPap?

    Hi Missy:
Can I ask you a few questions pertaining to the progression of the disease. If it is too painful to talk about I can understand.

    Missy,
When I first camve here in 2010, I never saw the memorial section. For whatever reason. And then after a while I noticed, but didn't post. Unfortunately, its now the first thing I look at. I wish it wasn't so. I had a funny feeling the day Diane passed away. I went to her vm board and found the note. When Ken went down, the sinking feeling came back. And yesterday when I posted about Al, I knew somehow we would get the answer today. I'm praying these feelings leave me for a while.
As for Chistopher, I have that feeling but don't have a clue as to where to start. Hopefully his wife will let us know. I pray I'm wrong.
Thanks for making sure I'm not behind the times.
    Toto
