Hi Marypat,
How are you doing lately? My dad seems to be holding steady lately. We are glad that nicer weather is here that we can get him out more. He went to my youngest son's baseball game last night. The park is in the subdivision that my dad lives in which makes it convenient for his caretaker. I am getting ready to have a garage sale in a couple of week. I have tons of clothes that the kids have outgrown and that is after donating alot. My kids will be done with school on Monday for the summer. Our twins Matthew and Julie are 15 and are learning to drive. It's kind of scary. lol Take care, Kim
Hi Marypat,
Thinking of you and hoping your pacer is working well for you. I am glad that we finally have warm weather here in Central Illinois but we are supposed to get several days of by the end of the week. Yuck! Take care of yourself, Kim
Thank you for your anniversary well wishes. I really appreciated that - it was very kind of you. Today was our 36th. Strange, in some ways it seems like yesterday, and in other ways like another lifetime. I wish we could do it all over again. Annie was truly God's great gift to me. How are you faring?
Gees! Now I see your friends list, and it looks like I'm already on it.....just when I thought I had re-discovered how to do it.....oh well, it's all good, and thanks again.
Thanks for the friend request, of course I accepted.....I can't find how to send my request to you.....I have done it before, but I forgot what I did.....big dummy. I'll keep tryin'.
You never realize how one phrase can change a life. On November 16, 2010 Daryl and I heard my doctor use the phrase, “You have ALS” and we began to realize just how much impact one phrase can have on a life. We also found out how much we could learn.
For example, we learned how to look at our house in new way, a way in which a wheelchair could move around in it easily. We learned how important clinical trials are to those who need a cure. We learned how to work the scooters at Wal-Mart....
