Hi everyone. My husband is in real need of prayers right now. Last night he took a fall and hit his head really hard on the floor. He hit an artery and lost a lot of blood. I had to call 911 and he had to be taken by ambulance to the ER. It's a miracle he survived. I've never seen so much blood in my entire life. Luckily I heard him fall and was in the bathroom in 30 seconds or it would've been a totally different outcome. He had to get nine staples in his head. They did a CT scan of his head and neck and also an xray of his upper and lower back. Thank God they both came back clean. Nothing broken or cracked. My husband felt sure he cracked his skull. We got home from the ER this morning about 8 AM. My husband was able to get some sleep. If you could please keep him in your prayers, I'd be very thankful.

God Bless~
Judi

Judi,
What a traumatic experience for you both.
I will keep your husband in my prayers.

Aren't head injuries a frightening experience! The blood that flows from them is incredible. I will be praying for both of you! Glad it had a decent outcome.

I think the prayers were already answered . He is a home. Judi , you are one of the good ones. Bless you.

Thank you everyone. We appreciate the prayers and thoughts. My husband got up earlier than usual today and is doing okay. His head hurts like a son of a gun, but he's hanging in and such a trooper.

My prayers are with you both.

Thanks everyone, I should've came back here sooner, but it's been a bad time.

I am so glad to see you post! I hope you are healing well and doing better!

Mango, I am glad that you're ok. Take care of that head!

I am glad he is home.....my prayers are with you both.....as an EMT, I have to tell you to please watch him closely...for after a hard hit to the head, any out of the norm change may be something to re-check. Headache, dizziness, increased sleepiness, persistent vomiting, difficulty in arousing.....such changes need to be re-evaluated in an ER. I am very happy he is home and that all the tests came back negative, you took all the right steps, you are a wonderful person.
