my dear american friends, just want to let you know i will be thinking of you over the next day or so.
i pray those of you on the hurricanes path are kept safe with your loved ones.

can not imagine what it must be like to go through such a bad storm.
saw a space view of it on tv and its a monster,500miles diameter i think they said.
we brits always complain about our bad weather but we should feel fortunate that we dont have the hurricanes and tornado's that you have.

anyone in an area of allert please let us know so we can check you are ok.
keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Me too, just reading up on it, going to be a bad one!

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the path of hurricane Irene. Please be safe and take care.

with love and concern

Dana

Have gone through quite a few hurricanes down here in the Caribbean.
Be safe - will be thinking and praying for you.
One tip - you may already know, but.. If the power goes off and you need it for a chair or bed etc, a UPS works well.

those of you in newyork, will be thinking of you today and hope you keep safe.
dana, praying you will be ok,let us know you are ok when you can.

So far those that have checked in here and there are fine. Still waiting to here from others out that way.

seems to be winding down here in Western MA... not what we thought it was going to be. lost power but now it is back

Praying for all of you today...for safety and little power outages....snuggle up and keep cozy you will weather the storm just fine.

We had heavy rains, 4" total and some good gusts of wind, but no damage at our house. We even had our power stay on, so it wasn't really too bad. My husband is part of a technical rescue team and was sent near Cobleskill NY, they had some serious flooding there. He just called and they were going to head back towards home but can't find a way out. My thoughts and prayers go out to those who weren't as lucky as us.
