Hi all
Just thought I'd do a quick post on fasciculations/twitching for those that are searching. I hope it helps eleviate someones fears.
Many people end up on this site or others like it because they have twitching and dr google says it's ALS. When I was in with the neuro the other day, he looked up many diseases that he thought I might have on some fancy looking medical database. All of these diseases included twitching as a "common" symptom and none of these diseases were any form of ALS/MND. Most were treatable in some way.
Yet when I google some of these diseases I get results up that say twitching is rare or twitching isn't even mentioned as a symptom.
My point I hear you ask... Twitching is apparently common in many diseases, google doesn't know much about anything & most of all.... Relax, they don't mean you have ALS!
