My mother who was diagnosed with PBP back in FEB 2010 is having a lot of head pain. Most of this is usually all on one side. She said it hurts back in her neck, which I know could be from muscle weakness, but not sure about the side of her face and head. I have to be careful when I go to hug her because the side of her face is so tender. Does anybody else have trouble with this. Before she was diagnosed she had this some, we were actually afraid she may have brain tumor, but the scans did not show anything.

Thanks

I have not had any pain with my PBP. I notice more problems with my right side of my face. It droops more on the right side and I have more drooling from the right side of my mouth. I bite the inside of my cheek if I"m not careful. I will get an occasional head ache but I believe it is caused from not drinking enough water.

Yeah, my mother was telling us yesterday that if she is not careful she will bite the side of her cheek also.
