It has been a long time since I was here. Do any of you wear metal frame glasses? I have tried, but I can feel myself getting weaker and slower with them on. If I wore them very long I would not be able to get out of bed. I believe that is what gave me PLS

I've worn perhaps a dozen different metal framed glasses over the years.

Well,gosh..."the incidence of PLS is what.....towards 1 in two million. If you take into account the amount of people who wear metal frame glasses who don't have disease........factorin people with perfect eyesight who do have the disease and then count those who wear plastic glasses and have or don't have the disease. You are someone in the noise of the statistics on this. PLS just happens. You shouldn't waste much of a perfectly good life looking for something to blame. But if you do need to do this you would have a better statistical likelihood if you blamed your hair shampoo.
