Pls or ALS

diagnosed with PLS, but no spasticity, just speech issues and gait problem.
Scared it's really ALS. EMG , LMN okay for now

Hello Mes, That sucks to hear. Try to soak all the good juju anyone around offers. Your support group of peeps will help pull you through the lows I hope. Take care of yourself in any way you can. I am sorry for the diagnosed. You likely already know that there is a spectrum to the MND's and schools of medical practitioners who believe PLS is toward one end and ALS on the other while others believe they are seperate pathologies. In any case, the symptoms are treated as well as they can (when possible). I hope your PLS is very slow and your symptoms remain confined... sigh. I feel for you.

I don't know if this will be of much help- but i waited12 years for a diagnosis of PLS and
lousy balance and excessive sleepiness are my two most prominent symptoms. I am trying to just struggle on .
