Well yesterday we went to see a new neurologist. We've been through several and so we were not expecting a positive experience to say the least. Well...we loved the guy. He spent time, asked all the right questions and some we didn't even think about. He was so on top of this that we were amazed. My husband has been having some dizzy, passing out spells off and on for about two years now. His last neuro and the one he sent him to for a second opinion were clueless. He was referred to a heart specialist and actually had an implant put in to record irregular heart beat. It's NOT his heart. This guy said that he didn't like the doses and meds that my husband was on, stated that two actually caused seizures, which is what I KNOW my husband is having. He changed all his meds around and gave us an action plan at least. Sometimes you feel like you are the one who has to do all the work. It was so refreshing to find a doc who knows what to do for my husband. We have been within an hour radius of our home and the entire was to Cleveland Clinic. Our new doc is five minutes from our house. Thanks goodness. It's funny what makes your day sometimes isn't it?

A good Doc can make all the difference in the world! So glad you found one!

I'm glad you found a good one too. Whenever you pick up yours or hubbys me ds, DO NOT sign the paper most phar mac ies ask you to sign (not without talking to Phar ma cist). Many clients believe that you are signing off that you have picked up the script. What you are really signing is that, you do not need to speak to the Phar ma cist. Always, always speak to the Phar ma cist about each and every dr ug.

thanks for the info. good points. :)
