Default Does PLS initially affect all muscles?

Or does it start in one area, like als?

My husband says ALL his muscles feel stiff, weak & fatigued. His arms & thighs. He says when he uses them, walking, or repetetive arm motions, it feels worse. I ask him to be specific but he says its not in one spot, just all his muscles feel the same? Ohh, some days are better than others.

THX

Mine started with loss of balance, then legs. Not sure which one first. My arms have started getting tired and sore faster and sooner than they used to. Symptom of PLS?

Mine started in just the bulbar area. It wasn't until 4 years later it started affecting my limbs.
